Fulton Weld On or Bolt On Hinge Kit for Boat Trailer Tongue

Question:

Is there any benefit over the bolt on versus weld on coupler hinge, outside of the welding fact and repainting? Is one stronger then the other? Its just a jet ski trailer and total weight with jet ski around 1200 lbs. Thanks

Welding is considered a more permanent solution than bolting. All things being equal one is not stronger than the other, but with welding you'd never have to worry about bolts backing themselves out.

As long as you have access to a welder or (person or machine) I'd recommend the weld on Fulton hinge part # FHDPW230300.
