Yes, you can install brake controller # TK63VR in your 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. If your Crosstrek does not already have a 4-Way trailer wiring harness you would need to start by installing one, # 118467 for non-hybrid models or # C56243 if yours is a hybrid.
Then you will need # ETBC7 to add a 7-Way trailer connector and for the wiring and other parts needed to install brake controller # TK63VR. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
