Question:

Hello, I just purchased a light which uses a 2057 bulb. I have noticed that the brake and turn signal is not as bright as the other light on my trailer which uses an 1157. Can I replace the 2057 with a 1157 so the brake and turn signal will be brighter. The running light is OK. Thank you,

The main difference between the 1157 taillight bulb and the 2057 is that the 2057 draws about 30% less current when using the running lights. They are interchangeable like you mentioned.

We have a 1157 # 30-90-157.
