I purchased this set up and do not see any accommodation for safety chains. Will I have to weld brackets onto the tongue?

Since the Titan Disc Brake Kit and Swing-Away Actuator w/ Electric Lockout # T4843300 has a hinge built into it you'd want to attach safety chains to the tongue of the coupler before the hinge and coupler.
If you need some we have the part # E950 which have a 4,000 lb capacity each.
