can you view the installation instructions for the 2007 bmw x3 trailer hitch installation on line? Removal of rear bumper seems like it may be a problem yet installation time was fast?

The install is pretty involved, requiring the removal of the rear bumper fascia and bumper. The hitch actually replaces the bumper beam located behind the fascia. The fascia would then need to be trimmed as shown in the instructions before being replaced on the vehicle. When trimming the fascia, remember the old woodworkers credo: Measure twice, Cut once!
