Operation of Rain Sensor and Automatic Fan on Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent FV803350

Question:

I am reading that the rain sensor on fantastic model fv803350 once it senses rain and closes will not reopen. In a older model that i had, once it had dried off it would open vent up again. Is this still true

Yes, the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent # FV803350 has a rain sensor that will close when it rains or snows but then re-open once it dries. The fan will also automatically re-start once the dome has opened.

How do you remove the fan screen to be able to clean it efficiently?

The screen itself actually just pops into place - so you should be able to remove it by pulling down on the unit while holding down the release tab.

@ChrisR Where is and what does the release tab look like? Sorry, really new at this.
