Do you have any suggestions for how to reduce the bag noise. It sounds like it is flapping - almost like holding a card against bicyle spokes while pedaling. I secured the excess straps and still get the flapping noise. We decided to try to place it in the roof basket of my son-in-laws Subaru Forsterer. We still have difficulty with noice from the bag. Thanks,

Aside from using a cargo basket with a fairing, like the Curt # C18115, which it sounds like you already did, my only other recommendation would be to use extra tie downs.
You could use some additional tie-downs that you can find on the linked product page. Just use the extra straps to secure any parts of the Rightline Gear Sport 2 # RL100S20 that seem to be resisting the wind as much as you are saying they are.
