Question:
Good evening, I am looking to purchase a electric winch for a triple axel trailer used with my Sea Ray 270 Amberjack boat. The boat has a dry weight of about 7300 lbs . Please recommend a winch that will have the capacity to function on both flat and moderately steep ramps. Thanks

For your 7,300 pound boat, I recommend looking at the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch # DL25215. This particular winch is designed for boats that are up to 9,000 pounds depending on angle, winch distance and type of bunks you have on your trailer. If the trailer has roller bunks instead of standard wooden units, this winch will work perfectly and have more than enough capacity for your application.
This is a great electric winch that features a spring-loaded clutch lever that will allow you to release a load without power, an emergency crank handle and a high-impact, weather-resistant case. The 2 inch wide x 20 foot long strap is included.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also take a look at.
