Which Brake Controller Install Harness Is Needed for Installing Controller in 2017 Toyota Tacoma

Question:
2017 Tacoma 4x4 sport with tow pkg, you list the 39523 unit and two different wiring harnesses a 3017 P and a 3031 P. How do I know which one?

The part # 3031-P is designed to replace the part # 3017-P as it is the latest design. Basically the 3031 has an additional ground wire that allows the controller to perform better.
So to install the Tekonsha PowerTrac # 39523 I would recommend the # 3031-P for your 2017 Toyota Tacoma.
