My wrangler does not have a connector on the passenger side, do i cut the wire

The Tekonsha T-One 4-Pole wiring harness # 118409 is meant to install at the OEM wiring that connects at the Wrangler's tail light housings. The included connectors are the no-splice plug-and-play type that install between the OEM wiring's plug and the connectors on the lights. Both driver and passenger side light assemblies should have the same connectors, as shown in the linked video on a 2004 Wrangler.
If you review the video at the 1:20 mark you will see how our installer had to do some digging to get to the connector on the passenger side.
