I have a solution for you, however the Sport Rack Semi-Custom, part # SR1002 is not a fit for the 2013 Volkswagen Passat.

Instead, I recommend the Inno Rack, a kit consisting of:

Inno 50 inch Crossbars, part # INB127
Inno Feet for Square Bars, part # INSUT
Inno Fit Kit, part # INK591

This will provide a complete, custom fit for your 2013 Volkswagen Passat. The Inno kit has integrated locks for added security.
