Yes, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75712, will fit on your 2010 Jeep Compass. If your Compass is the Rallye edition, fascia trimming will be required, but the hitch will still fit nicely.
This is a Class III hitch and it will definitely be capable of carrying 3 normally sized bikes. The Thule Helium Aero 3 bike rack, # TH9043PRO, is the rack most often selected by our customers looking to carry 3 bikes on their Jeep Compass.
If you will be carrying womens, childrens, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend the Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, in order to carry the bikes level.
