Easy to Install Tire Chain Recommendation for Tire Size 215/40R18

Question:

Hello, as stated I have a Hyundai Veloster Turbo, tire size is 215/40 r18. Was wondering if this would be a good fit for my car. Im not a fan of driving in snow, but we recently re-located to Sparks, Nevada from California and would like to visit friends over the holiday season. To do so, we will have to drive through Donner Summit in snowy condition and chains are required. My concern is the Veloster is so low profile that chains are not a good idea and would probably chew up the cars wheel well area. Also, being unfamiliar with chains, these look easier to install and seems like they would fit. Will these work and can a harried single mom with no experience with tire chains make these work. For your tire size of 215/40R18 the Thule Easy Fit part # TH04115095 are a confirmed fit. You'll have to check the owners manual of your 2013 Hyundai Veloster to determine if there are any tire chain restrictions. Most likely you'll need to go with Class S compatible tire chains like what these are. That means they do not require much clearance to fit and install.

For what you described wanting out of a set of chains these are the best choice. They install in a matter of seconds and will last a long time.
