The weight distribution system that you selected, Reese Weight Distribution, part # RP66561, is a friction sway control system. A friction sway control will help to stop trailer sway, but does not start working until the trailer has already begun to sway.

I would recommend going with a dual-cam sway control, like the Reese Weight Distribution System, part # RP66130. Dual-cam sway control acts to stop trailer sway before it starts.

I have a friend who towed a car hauler with friction sway control, and then towed an almost identical car trailer with dual-cam sway control and said there was a big difference in towing, controlling the truck and trailer and how much smoother it was.

Also, like you are doing, proper loading of your trailer will help reduce trailer sway.

I have linked instructions for the Reese Weight Distribution System, part # RP66130, and an FAQ on weight distribution.
