Helpful Expert Reply:
Use of any tire traction-enhancement device, such as a tire chain or snow sock type product, is subject to the approval of the auto maker. Some cars can use chains/socks on only one or the other axle; other cars may be able to use such traction devices only on specific tire sizes.
In the online edition of the owner's manual for the 2007 Subaru Forester section 8-10 indicates that this vehicle can be fitted with special low profile S-Class chains on the front axle only. They also caution that driving speed should not exceed 19-mph. I suggest checking your printed manual in case it differs. Naturally chains should be removed as soon as you reach clear pavement.
On the linked page you can see all S-Class traction items that fit your 215/60-16 tires. The similar item you referenced, part # TCH58, does not fit your tire size.
