Question:

i i need to buy a hitch reciever for my lexus gx470 - it is 6 big holes on the bottom where i can bolt on the reciever. but i cannot find anything . i see that you sell a reciever for gx 460 but the holes on the 460 is diagnonal. my 470 has straight line holes

There is a hitch that is a confirmed fit for your 2004 Lexus GX 470, the Draw-Tite # 75155. This is a bolt-on hitch with a 6,000 lb towing capacity and 600 lb tongue weight capacity; I've attached a link to video of this hitch being installed on an '04 GX 470 for you to take a look at.

If you were looking to tow and did not have the factory tow package, you would need to add a 4-flat connector, the Curt # C59236. I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise.
