Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2012 Subaru Impreza XV

In 2012 the XV edition was used on a Subaru Impreza and in 2013 the XV edition was used on a Subaru Crosstrek. Therefore you will need to go through the fitguide for a 2012 Subaru Impreza in order to find the correct hitch.

For your 2012 Subaru Impreza XV you can choose from either the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT24959 or the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11286. The Curt trailer hitch requires the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap part # 18050 for all non-towing applications whereas the Draw-Tite trailer hitch does not.

So you are saying that the trailer hitch for subaru xv 2013 and subaru xv 2012 are the same?
