I want to purchase the Yakima SkyBox 18 but I am concerned that it is too long to fit my Infiniti FX35 2008 without impeding rear hatch or hanging out over the front windshield. Will the SkyBox 18 fit or should I look for a smaller box? Thanks

The Yakima SkyBox 18, # Y07336, measures 92 inches long. Chances are that the box will either overhang the roof or make contact with the rear hatch or both on your 2008 Infiniti FX-35. If your crossbars are adjustable and you can move them forward, and then adjust the box to be more forward, it can probably clear the rear hatch but will most likely overhang in the front.
What I recommend is a slightly smaller box, in terms of cubic feet. Take a look at the RocketBox Pro 14, # Y07192. This box still boasts 14 cubic feet of space but is only 74 inches long so the chances of it interfering with the rear hatch or overhanging in the front are slim.
