Question:

I did not include one more question. the distance from the hitch pin hole to the metal ring on the mast hinge? This distance is critical. Its the closest point to the bumper. thank you.

The Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR is indeed 13-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the upright bar, so it will be a fit for your 2017 Nissan Rogue that is 8-1/4" from the hitch to the bumper. I have added a couple photos showing this rack on a Nissan Rogue.

To protect your investment, I recommend taking a look at the Thule Hitch Lock # THSTL2 to lock the hitch to your Rogue, and the Thule Cable Lock # TH538XT. I've added links to video reviews of these locks for you to take a look at.

I spoke with a representative of Thule, who told me that for the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR, the distance between the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the mast is 10", so there will be enough room for you to use it with your 2017 Nissan Rogue.
