Question:

I asked a question earlier and the Reese adaptor RP30154 was recommended for my hitch. However, the anchoring pins on my hitch are 30.5 inches apart by 18.5 inches apart. Based on the dimensions of the adaptor I dont this adaptor will work. Can you recommend another

You are correct that the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 25,000 lbs # RP30154 will not fit the dimensions you gave. The photo you attached is a Demco SL series, so I reached out to my contact at Demco to confirm what we need to make it compatible with your truck.

The head can be used, but the rest of the hitch is designed for a unique mounting plate, so you will need to change some things out to make it compatible with your truck. My tech contact said you will need the Replacement Saddle Bracket for Demco Hijacker Premier Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # DM6023 and the Replacement Side Plates for Demco Hijacker Premier Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # DM6060. This will make your hitch compatible with the adapter listed above or the Demco brand adapter for your truck # DM6099.
