Question:

I would like to know the measurements of the size of the box may want to use it for something other than a breakaway kit and if it is available as a service item without the complete kit? Thank you

The Tekonsha Push to Test Breakaway Kit, # 50-85-313, is large enough to house a 12 volt battery like # UB1250, which is 3-1/2 inches x 2-3/4 inches x 4 inches. The box will be slightly larger then this in order to accommodate the battery. The box is this particular kit is not available as a stand alone item, but we do have others that are.

Take a look at the Replacement Battery Box for Breakaway Kit, # 34420215. This box will be the same size as the one listed above. We also have Replacement Box, # HM20120.

We have some larger battery boxes as follows:

Battery Box Vented - U1, # DW03188: 10-1/2 inches x 7-3/8 inches x 9-1/4 inches
