Updated 03/10/2020 | Published 08/08/2017

Question:

I am replacing my LC298707 Lippert jack assy. because one of the legs is bent. Is this new unit wiring compatible so I can just splice into the current lippert switch wiring?

Since the Lippert Components Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707 is a direct replacement for your 337199 Lippert Jack it will be compatible with your current wiring.

This comes with a new switch and breaker part # LC387874 for the switch and part # LC134181 for the 6 amp Auto Breaker.

I purchased a brand new 5th wheel with the lci power jack and now 1 leg is bent for no apparent reason. I am wondering if you have had any problems like this before?

We honestly haven't heard of this being an issue with our customers. You have probably already done this but just be sure that you aren't overloading the system's capacity. The leg can also be bent from the trailer moving forward or back with the jacks on the ground.
