Can I Change My Single-Speed Manual Landing Gear to 2-Speed?
Updated 08/03/2017 | Published 08/02/2017 >
Question:
I have a Gooseneck trailer with dual landing gear. It is manual jacking only. I am interested in adding a 2 speed gearbox to the existing jacking system if possible. If this is not an option, I would consider replacing the entire landing gears for a 2 speed manual system. Your thoughts or you questions are welcomed.

Adding a 2 speed gearbox to your existing single speed manual landing gear may not be possible. The gearboxes are brand specific and are not offered separately by most manufacturers. Your best bet would be to go with replacing your existing landing gear with a 2-speed option like Bulldog's 2-Speed Tandem Landing Gear Set # BD500154. I've provided a link to our selection of 2-speed manual landing gear for your convenience.
