How To Secure An Electric Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tanks

Question:

So I have a 24 year old Cassa Villa park model which is getting a a do over. The existing waste system consist of a new black water tank, but the Valterra dump valve was installed about 12 feet from the tank , nearly on top of the parks sewer inlet. I feel this long distance from the tank is outlet is going to cause another problem if I were to attempt using it again as is. Im thinking the best fix would be to locate a new dump valve in the 3 waste pipe about 12 to 16 inches from the tanks outlet. In order to make this work I would need the new valve, 120 cable and hardware. This is because of the location and that an add on room is built onto the opposite side of the home. So far this seem fairly straight forward stuff but my question is if I install the new valve as Ive described, will I need to secure it somehow to the trailer or will the attachment to the sewer line be sufficient and strong enough for the cable and remote handle to operate properly?

Yes, you are correct in that the piping that runs both into and out of the Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank part # E1003VP will be sufficient for mounting and securing the water valve. You will not need to mount any additional brackets to secure the valve. The waste gate has a wiring harness totaling 7' in length.

For a proper installation, I recommend using the Valterra ABS Solvent Cement part # A05-0303. I have also attached a review video of this waste valve for you.
