Question:

Hello, I want to mount 2 X Rotopax 4Gallon units horizontally on a Yakima Load Warrior. I can see that you guys have a mounting kit for Rhino. Will that work with Loadwarrior? If not any alternative solution you can recommend. Thanks

The RotopaX RX-4G 4-gallon fuel container can be mounted to a Rhino-Rack Pioneer platform rack like # JA8548 using adapter kit # RR43203. This kit uses the rack's specialized channels as the mounting point. This kit would not work with a Yakima Load Warrior basket because the construction is totally different, no channels.

I checked the RotopaX website and while they do offer many types of adapters none is specified to be compatible with a Yakima cargo basket. They do note on their site that many of their customers fabricate their own mounts.

You might consider using a sturdy ratcheting tie-down strap kit like # EM34420.
