Can Trailer Valet XL Push and Pull a Trailer to Move It

Question:

I am looking at your Valet XL trailer dolly. I need it to push a 19foot Jon boat into the garage. The demo only shows the guy pulling. Does it go both ways Push/pull.

The crank handle of the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL25 can be spun in either direction so it could push or pull a trailer if needed. In either direction it works just as good.

What are the recommendations for the drill for using the drill attachment? Would the Dewalt DCD791 be enough to use the dolly at its maximum capacit? It has UWO of 450. Hard torque of 650 and about a third of that soft torque.

Trailer Valet has the XL # TVXL25 paired with either the DCD740B or the DCD780B in their packages so you want something at least that powerful. You'll want to use the low gear setting for this application.
