Question:
I have a damaged trailer connector for my Sea Doo Challenger 180 trailer. This is a Wesbar 4-way flat connector with 8 wires going into it. I saw on a forum that your company made this exclusively for Sea Doo and it wasnt available to the public. What can I do to replace this? Can I use a four wire connector? If so can you help me with what wires go with what? Ideally I would just purchase an 8 wire 4-way flat connector from you, but I dont see them on your website. Thanks!

For your Sea Doo Challenger 180 Trailer, I recommend the 4-Flat Connector Wishbone Style - Trailer End # W002230. This harness is a wishbone which means there are separate tail/running light wires sent to each side of the trailer so no jumper wire is required across your frame. I've attached a video of this installation for you and have also attached a wiring article to assist.
If you would rather splice your 8 wire system into a 4 way connector, you can use the Hopkins 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector w/ LED Test Lights - Trailer End - 24" # HM48133 which has trailer light tester LED's integrated.
I recommend using the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector - 16-14 Gauge - Nylon Insulation - Blue - Qty 10 # DW05744-10 to shrink around the wires for a water tight connection.
