Can you recommend a recumbent bike carrier for me? I drive a 2016 Chevy Spark, and I have a Sport recumbent bicycle I need to carry. In your answer please include all of the items I would need to purchase. For example, I notice that some of your carriers require a hitch,inch but Ive no idea what kind of hitch I would need to install.

For your 2016 Chevy Spark, I recommend you start with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11433. This is a bolt on installation that is confirmed to fit your Spark. To use this hitch for a bike rack, you will also need the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap - Bike Rack Strap with Cambuckle # 18050.
For your bike rack, I recommend the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Recumbents Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # SA4412B-R. This bike carrier is adjustable for standard bikes or short- or medium-length recumbents. This rack has a 35 pound per bike weight limit when used with a class I hitch like those for your vehicle. For security, I recommend the Hitch Tite Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for Saris Bike Racks with 1-1/4" and 2" Shanks # SA3022 and the Saris Cable Lock - 8' Long # SA981.
