Question:
Would like to replace my Curt II hitch with a Draw Tite III hitch on Forester 2014 XT. Can I use the same bolts that are already in the frame attaching the Curt hitch?

When installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75876 to replace the Class II Curt # C12100 on your 2014 Subaru Forester, I do not recommend using the same installation hardware from the Curt hitch.
Looking at the included hardware for both trailer hitches, it does appear that they each use different size bolts and the Draw-Tite hitch uses 6 conical washers, while the Curt does not. Installing the Draw-Tite Hitch using different hardware than what was included with the trailer hitch will also likely void the warranty for the product.
The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch will provide a 2 inch receiver opening with a 3,500 pound towing weight capacity and 525 pound tongue weight capacity. I have attached an installation video on your 2014 Subaru Forester for you to check out.
If you happen to just need the installation hardware for the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, you can use part # RHK. You will simply type the product number (75876) into the text box under "Hitch Item Number" on the product page. We will then assemble the correct installation hardware kit for you.
