Question:
Hi! Can you tell me what adapter length I need to use my 1 1/4 inch T2 on my 2inch hitch receiver on my 2014 FJ Cruiser? I need an adapter long enough to allow the folded carrier and mounted bikes clear the OEM rear-mounted spare but no longer. Thanks!

I don't know how much space additional length you need but the shortest option is reducer sleeve # HT02 which will give you 3 additional inches beyond the hitch pin hole on the hitch on your 2015 Toyota FJ Cruiser. So on the T2 Classic # TH9045 the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on the hitch to the nearest part of the rack when folded will be 6-1/2 inches.
The next shortest is # 80300 which adds another 7 inches.
If you are able to use adapter # HT02 it will not reduce the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch since it is a reducer sleeve. But if you use # 80300 the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch will be reduced by 50 percent because the extra length puts more leverage on the hitch. This means the combined weight of the bike rack and bikes cannot exceed the reduced hitch tongue weight capacity.
