Before I purchase the hitch I would like to know, specifically, what all tools I will need for proper installation. I will be installing on a 2017 Kia Soul base model.

To install Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24915 on your 2017 Kia Soul you will need the following tools:
17mm Socket and Ratchet Wrench
Phillips screw driver
Torque wrench rated for at least 42 foot pounds
If you do not have a torque wrench we have a few options:
# PTW3001C for a low-cost option
# ALL944001 for a more versatile option
# ALL940962 for a digital adapter for use with a ratchet
