Parts Needed to Install 7-Way Trailer Wiring Harness in 2017 Honda CR-V

2017 Honda CR-V EXL I need to install a wiring harness so I can tow my trailer. The only harnesses I have found on you website are the 4-pole flat. My trailer is a 7-pole blade. Do you sell a plug and play harness for this style or do I need to buy the 4-pole flat and an adapter?

For your 2017 Honda CR-V there are only 4-way harnesses we offer as custom fit options. For that you would want the Tekonsha harness part # 118741 which is a custom fit option. I like to recommend the Tekonsha brand as it tends to be the most reliable. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
Now if your trailer does not have brakes all you would need is the part # 37185 as an adapter to convert the 4-way to a 7-way.
If you do have trailer brakes you would need the # ETBC7 instead of the # 37185 and a brake controller. This kit comes with everything needed to wire up the 7-way and install a brake controller.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
