Recommendation for a Brake Controller to Fit a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe

Please can you tell me what additional parts I may need to install this brake controller in my 2009 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid. Ive not yet looked under the dash nor the hood to see what factory wiring, fuses and/or relays are present or missing.

Depending if you already have a 7-way connector installed or not on your 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe will determine the amount of additional parts that will be needed when installing a brake controller.
First, the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN # TK63VR, that you referenced is a quality controller that will work well with your Tahoe.
If you already have a 7-way trailer connector installed on your Tahoe, then all you will need is this brake controller and the included wiring harness. The needed wires to connect the brake controller will be found up under the driver's side dash near the emergency brake. There will be a bundle of wires with a white label. This bundle will include 1- Red/Black wire, 1- White, 1-Blue/White wire, and Dark Blue Wire. There may also be an Orange wire in this bundle as well.
The Tahoe wires will connect to the brake controller harness will as follows: White to White is ground connection, Red/Black to Black is the 12-volt power connection, Light Blue/White to Red will connect to the brake light switch, and Dark Blue to Blue is the brake controller circuit connection.
If your Tahoe does not have a 7-way trailer connector, then your best option will be to install the Hopkins Custom 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer connector, # 30955. This connector will plug into the OEM wiring harness plug located at the rear of the vehicle. The wiring to connect the brake controller will still be in the same location up under the drive's side dash. I recommend apply some dielectric grease, # LT37534, to the plug ends to prevent dirt and water contamination.
