Question:

Will this into holes on a 2016 gmc hd truck with factory trailer package. It has supports undear box. Is total height from box to top of pin 7 inch? Would this work with a Reese goosebox?

Reese Elite Series Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # RP30845 was designed for aftermarket under bed 5th wheel installation kits but not the factory set up on your 2016 GMC Sierra 3500. But if the truck also has the center hole for a gooseneck ball you can use # C60692 to add a ball and safety chain loops.

If you do not have the center gooseneck hole then I recommend using a 5th wheel trailer hitch that mounts directly to the factory prep package. If your truck is a long bed you can use any of the following hitches, all with cushioned heads (except the B&W hitch):

# C16069 rated for 25K
# C16545-16025 rated for 24K
# BWRVK3700 rated for 20K
# C16530-16025 rated for 20K
# C16064 rated for 20K
# C16520-16025 rated for 16K

If you have a short bed then the recommendations are a little different. You will need adapter # C16023 and then you can use:

# C16546 rated for 24K
# C16541 rated for 20K
# C16521 rated for 16K
