Question:

I have a Blue Ox base plate on my 2008 HHR that I purchased from you folks. I believe that it has a 19inch span but you can check that with my purchase history there. I need to know if this tow bar will stow on my car with the base plate that I currently have. I had purchased another tow bar from you with a standard 2inch coupler but as I recall it required a 22inch span on the base plate in order to stow on my car. Thanks

I could not find your invoice based on your email to confirm, but you most likely have the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1692 with a distance between brackets of 22 inches. I reached out to my contact at Blue Ox and was able to confirm that the Blue Ox Allure Tow Bar - Pintle Style - A-Frame - Car Mount - 10,000 lbs # BX7460P will work if you have a pintle hitch or the Blue Ox Acclaim Tow Bar - A-Frame - Car Mount - 5,000 lbs # BX4330 will work with a 2 inch coupler to mount on your HHR.
