Question:

I have a hitch assembly that was on my 2005 Impala that I sold and I want to know if I can install it on my 2007 Grand-Prix. Can you help?

A hitch designed for a 2005 Chevy Impala would not be compatible with a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. Although the vehicles are fairly similar, the differences in the hitch attachment points between the two vehicles are significant enough to make it impossible to interchange the hitches. For your 2007 Grand Prix, I would recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # C12225.

If you need to wire the vehicle for trailer lights, I recommend the Curt T-Connector, part # 56076.

If you are in need of a ball mount like # 36051, you'll want to measure for rise or drop needed for your specific trailer. You'll also need a trailer ball, we offer a 2 inch, part # 19258 or a 1-7/8 inch, part # 19256.
