I need an A frame jack for a horse trailer. I want to be able to grease it and need the most clearance under it when on truck. ground clearance to avoid scraping/bending it when entering some off road drives Which jack do you recommend?

First you need to select the required lift capacity; it is best to over-spec the jack since that will help it last longer. Choose a jack that can lift more weight than you require it to.
If 9-inches of lift and a 2000-lb rating are enough you might consider the Fulton F2 Adjustable A-Frame Jack # F1413250334 which can be used along with Fastway Flip Automatic Fold-Up Jack Foot # FA88-00-6500. The automatic folding foot will let you maintain the most ground clearance.
