4.80-12 Tire for Trailer that Has Higher 81 MPH Speed Rating

Question:
Hello, I am in need of new tires for my small boat. It currently has 5.3-12 4 lug tires on it, but the sticker on the trailer indicates 4.80-12 tires. I either size will fit it actually had one of each size when I inherited the boat over 10 years ago. Does one size tire have a higher highway speed rating than the other? As far as size and cost I am open to purchasing tires with rims or without since the cost to mount the tires where I live is going to be close to the cost difference between a tire only and a tire with rim Im not tied to any specific brand or size and would like to get the tire with the higher speed rating. Im currently considering the tires on your site as well as a 5.30-12 Power King Boat Trailer II tire from another website which claims a Speed Rating of M 81 MPH.

Both tire sizes you mentioned will fit the same dimension wheels. 12 inch diameter wheels that are 4 inches in width. The tire I would go with is the part # TTWSF48012C which is one of the sizes you would need and has a speed rating of 81 mph like you said you were interested in.
For a wheel and tire with this tire we have the part # TA36RR which has a wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern and then we also have the part # TA89RR which has a bolt pattern of 4 on 4 inch.
