Is an Overside Load Flag Needed on a Bike Rack Used in Pennsylvania

Question:
Since this platform bike rack extends out so far, is it necessary to affix a flag to it? Ive searched and I couldnt find a definitive answer online. Im mostly concerned with PA regulations. Thank you.

Since you live in Pennsylvania you will likely need a flag. That particular state has some pretty strict laws regarding hitches, towing, and related things so it is better safe than sorry. You could also check with the state police or department of motor vehicles for additional information.
You could use # Y80206, which was designed for certain Yakima racks but could be used on other bike racks if needed.
