Question:
A few years ago I purchased a class 3 hitch for a 2001 Toyota Sienna. I want to transfer it to a 99 ford econoline van Will it fit?

Expert Reply:
On occasion a trailer hitch will fit two very different vehicles, sometimes even vehicles with different badges, but in the case of all the hitches made for your 2001 Toyota Sienna none will also fit a 1999 Ford van. For reference I have linked the confirmed hitch fits for both of these vehicles, each on its own page.
As you review the hitch options for the Ford van do please note that we highlight important fit information.
When a hitch is going to be reinstalled on another vehicle it is necessary to use new hardware. We offer a replacement hardware kit, part # RHK, which includes all new parts for a safe installation.
