Recommended Double Trailer Jack/Landing Gear For 20 Foot Tandem Axle Log Trailer

Question:

Im looking for a double trailer jack system for a custom 20ft double axle log trailer. Gvw is 14k. Need something overkill because it gets loaded tongue heavy quite often and or loaded while unhooked from tow vehicle. It gets worked hard. Looking for recommendations for a manual crank, dual jack system in the 40k gvw range . Budget in the $500 range. Thanks

For your 20 Foot double axle log trailer with 14K GVWR, I recommend the Bulldog 2-Speed Tandem Landing Gear Set - Weld On - 17" Lift - 45,000 lbs # BD500153. This system is rated higher than you requested but still falls within your budget. This is an extremely hard working landing gear set for your application. It has two cranking gears and a traditional gearbox with sidewind crank.

With this system you will need the Fixed Cross Shaft Extension Tube for Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear - 72-3/4" Long # BDCS730300 cut to match the width of your trailer.
