Lightweight Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon
Published 04/05/2017 >
Question:
Im looking to buy a platform bike rack that would work on my 2017 Subaru Outback and our 93 Ford 150 PU with the tailgate down because we have a camper on the truck. We do use an extender on the truck with our old rack. Thank you for your help.

You would need to have a Class III hitch installed on your 2017 Subaru Outback like the Draw Tite part # 75673 which is a confirmed fit and would work well.
Since you are using a hitch extender I would go with a lightweight platform bike rack like the part # SA4025F which can carry 2 bikes and only weighs 35 lbs.
I attached a review video for this rack for you to check as well.
