Question:

Just porchased 96 3500 chevy.Gooseneck ball mounted thru bed and 1 thick carbon steel plt.Need safety chain u bolts will these work? I have enough in cart for free shipping.Ill wait until I hear from you to place order.Thanks

According to the instructions, linked for reference, the Replacement U-Bolt Safety Chain Kit for Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Hitch, # 6308, are 5-1/2 inches long. I do know that the bed is not as thick as that 1 inch thick steel plate, so considering that the bolts will have to go through the bed, the plate, possibly the hitch depending on how it is designed and how much space there is, these bolts will probably be long enough to install and to use on your 1996 Chevy C/K series 3500.
