Question:

Hi there - We just got a 2017 Kia Sorento with the panoramic sunroof. We own 53 Thule aerobars that we used with old old car 2012 golf tdi 5 dr. Id like to buy just the 460R podium and 4056 fit kit so we can reuse the bars we have. Two questions: - will the wider bars be a problem? You recommend the 47 bars - your video showing the Thule aerobars on a sorento does not show a sunroof. Will I still be able to open and close the sunroof if I install this rack? Thanks!

For your 2017 Kia Sorento with flush roof rails that run from front to back and a glass roof Thule does have a fit. You would want the # TH710601 and fit kit part # TH186033 that you mentioned already.

Now the crossbars recommended are the # TH711200 or # TH711420 which we know does fit, but your Aeroblade crossbars would fit too.

You won't want to open the sunroof either as the noise will be rather loud.
