Recommended Wheel Chair Carrier For Elite 14 Power Wheelchair

For an Elite 14 Power Wheelchair, my searches have shown a weight of 224 lbs. This weight along with the width of 24.5 inches leads me to recommend the Flint Hill Goods 30x50 Cargo Carrier w/ 48" Long Ramp # FHG77ZR. This is a strong steel carrier with a ramp. It is able to fold for storage when it is not in use and has reflectors to be seen at night.

I also recommend using tie downs like # EM34420.

If you are looking for a lift into the vehicle itself, unfortunately we don't have a lift to recommend or a ramp for that application.

Good Morning! Thank for the fast response....But I forgot to mention the type of vehicle, its a 2002 Cadillac Seville and a 1992 Chevy Pick-up 1500 Silverado with a small flatbed. Will either of those work for this type of vehicle? Also, what kind of suggestion you can give me on installation? Where (or who) to take it to have it mounted on my vehicle?

The Curt Cargo Carrier # C18112 will fit any 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. For your 2002 Cadillac Seville, we don't have a hitch that will be big enough. For your 1992 Chevy Truck, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 41524. It has a black powder coat finish over and e-coat base for superior rust protection. It is a square tube design that is rated for the same weight as the carrier. You can install it yourself if you are even slightly mechanically inclined or any local mechanic can do it. The hitch comes with easy to follow instructions that I've also linked for you.
