Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 1996 Ford Explorer without Tow Package

Question:

I couldnt find the plug for a T plug wiring harness for the trailer lights and didnt see a hookup with the colored nipple. What do i do now? I havent ordered any parts but will do so when i figure out which one i need. Thanks,

If you can't find the needed connector to install the # 118241 that would indicate that you don't have the tow package and instead would want the harness part # 118345 which is a fit for your 1996 Ford Explorer without the tow package.
