Hello, Is the Reese Steadi-Flex 14k as good as it looks? I cannot seem to find many reviews of anyone that is actually using it other than the one review on your site. I am wondering if the Equalizer 4 point offers any benefits over the Reese other than it has been around for much longer. The extra money for the Equalizer does not bother me if there is an advantage. Any guidance that you could provide would be much appreciated. Currently using 14k round bar weight distribution hitch with no sway control. Towing a 32 TT with a tongue weight of 10,880 with a Ford Excursion. Thanks,

The Reese Steadi-Flex system # RP66561 was introduced last year so there are not a lot of reviews available yet. The system works really well to help prevent sway with the sway control built into the head and the brackets. Some of the features like the adjustable head makes this system attractive. This system is designed for tongue weight between 700 and 1,400-lbs. The hitch ball is sold separately for this system. For a 2-inch ball I recommend part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball I recommend part # 19286.
The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System, part # EQ37140ET is also a nice WD system. We do have several great reviews for this system you can check out on our product page. This system uses a traditional washer style adjustment method to adjust the tilt for the head. This system has a 4-point sway control that helps to stop sway before it begins. The hitch ball is included with this system. To install the hitch ball for this system I recommend using a thin-walled socket like part # EQ70-00-4800.
