Why wont the 40-1365 fit a double cab Tundra ?

The regular cab and double cab models of the 2006 Toyota Tundra require different mounting brackets to install a grille guard. Aries has a similar grille guard that does fit the double cab models and at a lower price. It is # AA2053.
