would like to know how the trifecta is attached to the bed with the rail inside Tacoma bed. any other suggestions on what should be installed

The Extang Trifecta part # EX92835 includes brackets made specifically for your Tacoma's bed track system. Just lay the folded cover across your truck bed, behind the cab, and then secure the front panel to your truck bed side rails using the built-in SafetyKlamps. These clamps come pre-installed in the front bow of the tonneau and attach under the brackets that attach to your truck bed's channel.

I attached a picture that shows the brackets installed in the channels.
