Dimensions of Cross Tube on Front-Mount Hitch 65063 for Installation of LED Light Bar

Question:
Would like to use the front receiver mount for my 2015 Ram 2500 but I need to know a measurement on the mount so I can use LED light bars with it also. Please see the attached pic.

Thank you for your photo showing the portion of Draw-Tite front-mount hitch # 65063 for which you are looking for a measured dimension to allow planning of light bar installation.
I went to our warehouse and measured the length of the hitch tubing on either side of the central receiver opening. I measured both the available flat space (for mounting your LED light bar) and also the overall dimension between the mounting flange and the receiver tube. This longer dimension includes the welds, which are not a perfectly flat surface like the cross tube.
Just the perfectly flat available area (not including the outside ends where the welds are) measures 12-1/2-inches (x 1-1/2-inches tall). The overall distance between the sides of the mounting brackets and the sides of the receiver tube, including the welds, is 13-inches. So in terms of the available perfectly flat mounting area for lights, use the 12-1/2-inch dimension. Both of these measurements are noted on the linked photo that I prepared for you.
Do note that if you will be drilling into the hitch to provide light mounting points it will void the hitch warranty.
